Hex bolts feature hexagonal heads and machine threads for use with a nut or in a tapped hole. They can be used to fasten wood to wood, wood to metal or metal to metal applications. Be sure to use washers and nuts that are the same grade and finish as the hex bolt. Pre-drilled holes are required.

This bolt has a duplex coating that is 2X more corrosion resistant than galvanized fasteners, and provides 4 layers of protection from sun, rain, snow, and chemicals. Its coarse threads are designed for pre-drilled holes to prevent splitting or snapping, and it has a hex drive for controlled traction with a socket or wrench. Use this bolt with washers of the same diameter, material, and finish for best results.
Deck Plus® hex lag screws have a tan exterior duplex coating that is 2X more corrosion resistant than galvanized fasteners and is recommended for use with treated lumber
