A rare RIAA White Matte Gold Record Award for Maria Muldaur's 1973 debut album
Maria Muldaur, which contained her huge hit ‘Midnight at the Oasis.
This award was presented to Russ Thyret (1944-2021), the former Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Records, who in 1974, when the album was certified, worked in the label’s sales department

The highly desirable white matte award is in original very good condition.  The matte, disc and plate are all in excellent shape; the mini is a slight bit faded.  The frame has the usual scratching and wear, as can be seen in the photo.  There is some minor tearing to the backing paper, and the original New York Frame and & Picture Co sticker is present.
